Should the Republican Party In Texas Lose Ballot Access?
Where's The Accountability For Irresponsible Legislation?
Just in time for the 2024 Election Season, Texas State Senator Douglas Bryan Hughes is weaponizing his senate seat to introduce more ballot access resistance to keep third parties off the Texas Ballot. This further proves the Republican Party hates liberty and freedom just as much or more than the Democrat Party. In my previous article, we discussed Dawn Buckingham, Texas Land Commissioner’s tyranny, to steal a fellow Texan’s private property to expand the Alamo.
Today we will discuss how the Libertarian Party has little Douglas shaking in his boots so much that he has introduced S.B. 1660 to make it much harder for third parties to get on the ballot.
In what logical world does it make sense for members of an opposing political party to have the authority to create laws that only benefit themselves over their opponents? Any human being with any dignity wouldn’t want to belong to a party that abuses its power for self enrichment and suppresses the voices and choices of others. It’s tyrannical. Actions like these need consequences. I suggest the Republican party loses ballot access for at least ten years per offense. This kind of arbitrary behavior should not be tolerated in the state of Texas.
One could argue that S.B. 1660 violates the Texas Constitution Article 1: Sections 16, 19, and 26.
Let’s take a look at Section 26 for a moment:
"Perpetuities and monopolies are contrary to the genius of a free government, and shall never be allowed, nor shall the law of primogeniture or entailments ever be in force in this State."
This provision is intended to protect economic and individual liberties in Texas by prohibiting specific legal arrangements that are seen as limiting competition and perpetuating inequality.
A perpetuity is a legal arrangement that allows the transfer of property or wealth to future generations in perpetuity, which can result in the accumulation of wealth and power in the hands of a few individuals or families. Both the Democrat and Republican Parties have accumulated a substantial amount of wealth and property to afford to campaign to millions of people in Texas, which is most certainly an unfair advantage.
A monopoly is a situation in which one person or group has exclusive control over a particular market or industry, which can suppress competition and restrict consumer choice. The Democrat and Republican Parties are monopolies in the political sector. This Act that Texas State Senator Douglas Bryan Hughes has introduced leads to more suppression of competition from third parties and restricts Texan’s choice on the ballot. As I stated earlier, it is fraudulent for a government-run predominantly by those two parties to create laws to limit their opponents; nothing is honorable about that, nor is it fair.
The law of primogeniture is a legal tradition that gives preference to the firstborn son in inheritance matters. At the same time, entailments refer to legal arrangements restricting property transfer to future generations.
By prohibiting perpetuities, monopolies, primogeniture, and entailments, the Texas Constitution seeks to promote economic opportunity and individual freedom by ensuring that wealth and property are not concentrated in the hands of a select few. The few known as the Democrat and Republican Parties. This provision is based on similar conditions in the United States Constitution and is considered a fundamental protection of individual liberties in Texas.
I will email a physical copy to Douglas Bryan Hughes's office this week and drop off a physical copy in person. I’m only one person, so I need your help getting him the message to throw out this bill because it violates our rights, and he nor anyone else has the authority to target minority groups for their selfish self-interests.
Tell Bryan Hughes to throw out his tyrannical S.B.1660 Bill NOW, and you can send him this article if you’d like at:
